Job Overview:
The Assistant Kitchen Manager is responsible for preparing certified organic, raw and vegan meals within the parameters of our program, ensuring cleanliness of kitchen facilities and providing exceptional customer service in adherence with the mind, body, and spiritual program.

Position Requirements:

2 yrs experience in raw food preparation such as a salad chef or vegetarian dishes required

2 yrs experience in a supervisory or training role with demonstrated experience in budget administration, kitchen administration and operations

Proven kitchen management skills

Strong customer service, communication and leadership skills

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Basic accounting skills in regards to inventory, usage charts and budgeting

Ability to write routine reports and manage budgets

Previous hotel and restaurant experience

60 College credit hours or equivalent education and experience
